What exactly is a Mini Session?

A mini session is a condensed version of a full boudoir experience. It's perfect for those who want to capture some stunning portraits but don't have the time or budget for a full-on production.
During a mini session, you'll still get all the fun of a full photoshoot - you'll work with BACINI Boudoir owner Michelle McCrady to capture some incredible portraits, get glammed out with stunning hair and makeup application by professional hair and makeup artists Rissell and Greys, use of our gorgeous private studio in the heart of Fairfax City, and 2 of your most stunning portraits from your time with us to treasure forever. The main difference is that the session is shorter and more focused, lasting around 20 minutes.
The beauty of a mini session is that it's quick, easy, and affordable. It's perfect if you want to to dip your toes in to see what it's like before investing in a full experience, want to uplift yourself but are limited in time or availability, celebrate a milestone, update your social media pictures, get some professional portraits for a gift for that someone special, or even capture a special moment like a birthday or pregnancy announcement.
You'll still get all the styling assistance and posing guidance and direction you need, but without the pressure of a longer session.

Wow! What an amazing experience. The pictures were irrelevant, I would do it again just for the experience. The pictures were amazing, but I had so much fun during the shoot. Michelle and her assistant were funny, knowledgeable, and amazing. The vibe is just so fun. Yvette did my hair and makeup, it was absolutely beautiful. I would do it again 100 times over. Anyone who is interested in this type of shoot would be foolish to go anywhere else.
I just wanted to share with you all this amazing experience I had yesterday! I had my very first boudoir session this year, which I used Bacini Photography for. I was pampered from the time I began to the very end. I’m a very shy and insecure person by nature, but Michelle made me feel comfortable and confident the entire time. I was never pushed to do anything I wasn’t comfortable with, and I absolutely loved how everything was styled. The images are classy, yet sexy (no complaints from the husband), I am in love with every single one. I hope to do another one in the future. I had a session done in June (one amazing picture attached). I had lost some weight and wanted to do something different to show case my accomplishment. A friend and Co worker showed me a few of her images from a session she had done and something inside me wanted to do it for myself. Something inside me had always wanted to do it for myself. So I did. I was apprehensive about it because I for one have NEVER felt good about how I looked. Never believed what others “saw” in me. BUT LET ME TELL YOU!!! Michelle does pure MAGIC!! When I saw those images from my session I couldn’t believe I was staring at myself. Being my first session, I was nervous but from the very moment I walked into the studio, Michelle made the entire session comfortable. I laughed and forgot all about my insecurities. I totally recommend. Whether it be for you, for your spouse or for whatever reason, DO IT! No matter your age, no matter your size. DO IT! It was by far something I needed. I want to brag for a second and say how AMAZING Michelle is! I always wanted to do a couples boudoir but couldn’t convince the husband for quite some time. Finally I got him to give in and quickly scheduled with Michelle before he changed his mind 🤣. We both felt very relaxed and comfortable during the session. The worst part was the 2 hour drive home 😂. This was a great way to spice things up between us and make some steamy hot pictures we can look back on. If you need that spark again between you two, DO THE SESSION. If you want to feel a connection again, DO THE SESSION. If you just simply want sexy pictures of you two, DO THE DANG SESSION. I promise you won’t regret it. I had a hard time picking which picture to share because I loved them all, but this one was just 🔥

Michelle is an outstanding photographer. Her photos are magical and breathtaking. She has a beautiful style and it comes through in all of her photos. She will do what it takes to get her shots but is extremely patient. She is prompt, professional, on time, kind, thorough, and extremely knowledgeable in her craft. I highly recommend her and only use her as my photographer.

Hello, Beautiful! I am so excited that you're considering joining us on one of our adventures! I am a mother to 3 adorable and energetic little ones, a wife to an insanely handsome and hardworking man, business owner, and creative. Some days are so hectic that they feel like they never end and like many of you, I NEED a break from it all! We do so much to take care of everyone else that we don't often make the effort to take care of ourselves. That's why we created these amazing women's retreats that combine short vacations with like-minded women, group activities and experiences that will create lifelong memories and friendships and topped off with our luxurious and sought-after boudoir experiences!
I have been photographing boudoir for over a decade. I began my career while living in Italy and take so much inspiration from the paintings, sculptures, and beauty I took in during my time there. I continued back in NYC and finally landed in Northern Virginia just outside of Washington DC. My studio is located in the heart of Old Town Fairfax where we glam up and photograph women just like you every day. We have created a beautiful, strong, supportive community here and are excited to be taking our shenanigans on the road.
